Speaking about mobile phones, William Barr, neuropsychologist of New York’s University, believes that “If you use it constantly, it becomes a part of you”.
The integration man-machine is making incredible improvements, even beyond expectations.

Finger Whisper, the mobile phone prototype created in 2005 by the Japanese phone firm DoCoMo, uses a wristband to convert the sounds of conversation to vibrations that can be heard when the finger is placed in the ear.

Pantech, the Korean mobile phone manufacturer, has developed a mobile phone that will be effective even for people who have hearing problems.
It’s a clamshell phone which uses bone conducting technology to transmit sound waves to the users inner ear. How many times have we been absolutely convinced that our mobile phone was ringing, and then found out it was set on “silent mode”?
According to the neurologist Jack Tsao, the explanation is the same that is given to amputated people: the limb is no longer attached to the body but the brain however continues to feel its presence.
